MTS to stop its services, directions to the customers to consume the Balance

MTS has asked the customers to use their prepaid balance and other subscriptions. Users should consume their prepaid balance in next 30 days and port to any other network.

Free roaming in Mumbai for Uninor Maharashtra and Goa subscribers

Uninor customers in Goa and Maharashtra will enjoy ‘Free roaming’ in Mumbai on their Uninor connections. Uninor has added 300 new networks sites in Maharashtra to flourish its network.

Bharti Airtel to stop 3G services in seven circles

Bharti Airtel might stop providing 3G services to seven circles by the end of this month, as ordered by Department of Telecom (DoT). The company does not provide satisfactory data services to these areas. The action has to be taken within next 15 days i.e. the end of this month.

Airtel might be charged a fine worth Rs 350 crore or Rs 50 crore for each of the seven circles. Telecom Minister Kapil Sabir has already approved the action.
