Samsung Galaxy Skin with flexible AMOLED display and bendable batteries

25 March 2013 594 views No Comment

Get ready for the unlimited fun! The designer Heyon You has drawn Samsung Galaxy Skin concept, which might be used by Samsung one day in its flexible AMOLED displays.

The Smartphone can bend, flex and adjust itself according to the job you are making it do. The sides are rigid and the screen is flexible. It allows you to bring the phone in whatever shape you want. You can put the phone into a different shape every time you use it. Depending upon what the phone is performing, you can set the phone.

It is super thin, besides being flexible. It uses a special version of Google’s mobile OS, Android Flexy. Android Flexy makes it possible for the phone to change position according to the App running or the function being performed.

It is not something of a rumor or daydreaming. Samsung is improving, with extended flexible display radius, rigid batteries, flexible printed circuits and so on. We can definitely expect flexible batteries too in future! Stanford University has already introduced transparent Li-Ion battery. It is flexible and it might be the one Samsung Galaxy Skin will be using. The flexible battery is as good as the metal ones, it costs reasonable too.

Transparent flexible batteries are no more a dream. They do exist and therefore we can very earnestly wait for the Samsung Galaxy Skin Concept mobile phone.
