ThyssenKrupp (TKA.XE) has selected  Vodafone Group PLC (VOD.LN) to provide its services in Germany and 29 other countries across Europe, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region. Cisco has announced that the second largest telecom service provider in the Netherlands, Vodafone has deployed the BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) Service Manager. It has made possible for it to increase scalability and to improve service quality for its enterprise customers. This would be done through next-generation policy control and service management capabilities.
The Vodafone Netherlands solution uses the Cisco Quantum software suite, offering broadband access services. They provide flexible quota and application-level usage controls to the customers.

Vodafone India has shook Delhi high court when it challenged telecommunication department’s decision to auction the 900 MHz spectrum, held by the GSM operator. Virus Found In Vodafone HTC Magic Smartphone

One of  biggest player of GSM Mobile service  Vodafone is facing a malware trouble with its latest handset HTC Magic. Trend Micro an Internet security firm  has found that Vodafone’s HTC Magic Android smart phones comes with preinstalled viruses.
